Tech Review: FlexClip

By: Sabrina Davidson

It’s time for a Tech Review. I was reached out to by Flexclip to review their new web application Flexclip online video maker. They did upgrade my account from free to business. So huge thank you to them for offering for me to do a review for them and the upgrade.  All thoughts and opinions are my own for this review.

So right off let me start by saying that Flexclip is an online video maker that helps you easily turn photos and video clips into professional videos, no design skills are required. This is super great if you’re just getting started or need to make a video super quickly.

When I first looked at the site it reminded me a lot of Canva but where Canva does mainly regular posts or super small video, Flexclip comes with a video editor that you can cut and trim a video. Now I will say this is mainly made for small videos like less than 5 minutes. I didn’t get to test the size maximum, but I wouldn’t recommend that you try cutting a large video. But videos like Instagram Reels and Tiktoks YouTube Shorts, Intros, and outros are perfect. Especially if you don’t know where to begin, they have several templates that you can choose from, which makes it really easy to make a video and then post it.

Which is another great feature they have their templates broken down into categories by Business, Social, and Lifestyle to help make it easy to see and find what exactly you’re looking for. I really like some of the premade templates they had these are all fully customizable when you go to use them. Some of their templates even gave me ideas for more content I can produce across my social platforms.

They also have some other fun features like a GIF maker and Meme Generator which can be super helpful when you are designing things for your socials.

Looking at this as a business aspect you can totally take advantage of their stock library and come out with something that looks so super professional. When I was going through, they have access to several stock images, graphics, and videos that can all be used to create the message you’re going for.

You can check out the video I made over on my Instagram  @brinadancer1. I absolutely loved how easy it was to make this video. I was able to choose a template and then really customize it to make it my own form there. I think this is perfect if you just starting out editing and working on small projects.

I would definitely recommend this since it is really easy to use and you produce a high-quality video pretty quickly. Let me know in the comments if you have used this software and if you would like to see a full walkthrough over on my YouTube channel. You can also check out their product here
