This artifact is a Training Manual for Cyberleet Technologies. This shows the training manual and security polies for their business. This was created in the in spring semester of 2017 at SNHU for IT – 380 (Cybersecurity and Information Assurance.) The original purpose of this artifact was to demonstrate mastery in cybersecurity principals, create a security policy that meets business requirements, implement a set of security practices for safeguarding against malicious cyberattacks. This shows another way to effectively communicate in a professional context. The skills that were necessary to complete this training manual were a deep understanding of security concepts and practices, understanding of strategies for preventing a cyberattack, and best practices for security in comparison to functional business requirements. This artifact shows another method of communication in a written form since employees would be required to use that for their business. The biggest take away I had from this artifact was the creation of a training manual in the end. I had never really gone through a training manual process until this project. I did not have any challenges with this project. It was very straight forward. I did learn many concepts about people and security policies that can be applied in business context, as well as the need for education among employees about cybersecurity. I would not change anything about the project; I would just update and add to the policies as technology evolves. This project was a great set up and experience for real world experience. Every business, college, school, and place that uses technology has some kind of training manual and acceptable use policy that was created through the steps I took in my project. I think this showcases my skills and proficiencies in not just communication but security concepts and practices as well.
