This project was done for a client startup company called Flamingo Eats. This was for screen designs and a prototype for a food delivery service. This included three parts: user side, business side, and driver side. This project also had serious time constraints in that it needed to be finished in less than 2 weeks to keep the client’s laid-out schedule on time.
Following the UX design process research was done in to the style and needs of the different users for this application. From the client, I gained information about the target audience and the style in which the designs need to be taken. Once the information was gathered, wireframes were sketched before moving into actual screen designs. The designs were completed using Adobe Photoshop. I designed this for a general mobile device since the client had not chosen a mobile platform yet. I kept the designs simple and more minimalist to stay within the styles the client liked. In total, I designed over 50 screens in a week. Once screen designs were finalized, I moved into prototyping. For prototyping, I used Marvel. The prototype can be seen here. I chose to use Marvel since the client needed to be able to share the designs and app with a backend developer. Full App can be downloaded at Flamingo Eats.
